Summers are knocking at your doors. As we know, this is the hottest time in most of the parts of India. The summer scorches almost all the parts of India with sweltering heat. Thus, it is very important to keep yourself hydrated all the time. It is also said that eat light food and try to avoid fried food and so many things that have been done to stay healthy in summer and keep away from grueling heat. But, do you know the best thing that keeps your body healthy hydrated and healthy is to eat fruits. Summer is one of the best times to soak your system with super-nutrients and which are available in plenty in the delicious healthy summer fruits. So, this season eat fruits and stay healthy. These fruits are said to be most effective in summers:

Watermelon




Watermelon is the best fruit to have in summers. If you are thirsty, watermelon works wonders in replenishing lost fluids for the body. Watermelon will keep you cool, hydrated and healthy. As it contains lycopene that protects your skin against sun damage, and they are a good source of vitamin A and C. In fact, eating watermelon could help your heart. It is researched that, people who drank six cups of watermelon juice daily for 3 weeks experienced a 22 percent increase in their levels of arginine, an amino acid that boosts blood flow in your body.

 

Pineapple




Another delicious fruit with rich components is Pineapple. It provides a good mix of vitamins, antioxidants and enzymes like bromelain that protects your body against inflammation. It also protects against colon cancer, arthritis and macular degeneration. Eat yummy pineapple keep yourself healthy.

Starfruit 




Starfruits are low in calories and high in vitamin C and a good source of antioxidants. These fruits are usually in season from July through September. You can eat star fruit whole—skin included—or slice it into little stars.
