The doors of the Siva temple in Kedarnath wil open on 8th of May. The head of the Badrinath-Kedarnath Samiti Shri Anusuiya Prasad Bhatt announced that people can come and worship the Lord from 8th May. The doors will open shart at 5 in the morning of May 8th.

Set amidst the stunning mountainscape of the Garhwal Himalayas at the head of the Mandakini river, Kedarnath is not only one of the twelve Jyothirlingas of Lord Shiva but it is one of the Panch Kedars also. This will also start the Char-Dham yatra for the summer season.
