Spiritual Guru Satya Sai Baba took his last breath on Sunday morning in a super-specialty hospital at Prashantigram at Puttaparthi. He was admitted in the same hospital which he himself had created for the common people.After being on ventilator support for many days with all his vital parameters failing, Sai Baba died of cardio-respiratory failure. The followers of Sathya Sai Baba, are in a state of grief and shock as they expected him to recover. The devotees were expecting a miracle as Sai Baba is believed to survive two heart attacks, few years back.

Baba's body will be kept for darshan in Puttaparthi for two days.Thousands of devotees, from commoners to VIPs and celebrities, are making their way to the pilgrim town for a last glimpse of Sai Baba, whose body will be kept at Sai Hall in Puttaparthi on Monday and Tuesday. Andhra Pradesh CM declared 4 days state mourning. The burial will take place on Wednesday. Baba’s funeral will be conducted with full state honours. In some parts of the country devotees took out a procession carrying portraits of Sai Baba and chanted slogans like "Baba is not with us physically. But he remains with us forever".
