A Guru plays an important role in the search of divine knowledge. In every aspect of life, it is very essential to follow God’s laws. We go to the School to learn secular knowledge from teacher who knows it. Similarly, a one requires a Guru who teaches them about spiritual truths and awakes divine knowledge. A guru occupies a substantial place in an individual life. As when we face any problem or go through the adverse situation, when we are not be able to make out the correct judgment and find ourselves into the trapped situation , then we need the help of someone who has a eye of knowledge and wisdom. And this place is only be filled by a Guru.

A guru is the one who takes you to the path of humanism, whose guidance makes you a better person and who knows you better than you. To follow one who us the only way out of the great muddle that has been created in the world. A life cannot be successful without the spiritual guidance. An individual cannot find a true happiness and contentment in its life until he/she meets the guru who has the wisdom to guide. The word ‘Guru’ means a teacher, whose guidance can takes you to the planes of own existence. A guru is needed to get Moksha or salvation which is the ultimate goal of any person.

It is said that a Guru or Teacher is necessary because “Enlightenment is virtually impossible without the guidance and grace of a God-Realized guru”. A self realization is attained by you only. But guru guides you to understand every aspect of God’s law and guru is the one who bridge the gap of your soul with the God. We know, God only be seen by the spiritual enlightenment of one who is in constant communion with him. There may be many teachers in one’s life, but there is only one guru. In the guru-disciple relationship a divine law is fulfilled. If a teacher is without egotism, you may know that God alone resides in his body temple; and when you tune in with him you are in tune with God.

A true guru always helps his disciple in order to get him out of in any adverse situation. As in Mahabharat, Lord Krishna guides Arjun to fight against his own ones for the sake of righteousness and to establish Dharma in the society. Lord Krishna became the guru of Arjun when he was in confusion whether to fight with his family or not. Therefore, a guru plays a significant role in deciding his disciple’s future in terms of self realization or in divine enlightenment. But a leader who has no realization cannot show you the kingdom of God, no matter how large his following. All churches have done well, but blind belief in religious dogma keeps people spiritually ignorant and stagnant.
