Hinduism is an Endless religion or ‘a family of religions’.
This religion is based on various faiths and believes. It was a first religion
which had an idea of reincarnation that means a people can be born again
after they die. Well don’t know, whether, it is a myth or a truth, but
gradually people believe in it and have a faith on reincarnation. Hinduism is a
blend of many faiths. Some people believe in Varna,
and some other groups have a faith in Vedas, and
some accepts God. But they are all called HINDUS.
Although Hindus believe in polytheistic i.e...Believing
in many Gods. Because the divine cannot be limited, they exist everywhere and
in everything. Hence, Hinduism is monotheistic as well i.e.., believing
in one God. Many people think that Hindus believe in many gods. While others
argue that there is only one god in Hinduism. On the above, all innumerous
forms are Brahma, Vishnu, and Shiva – the supreme triad. Unlike
most other religions, Hinduism has no single scripture, and no commonly agreed
set of teachings.
However, some Hindus recognize sin as a willful personal
rebellion against god. They do commit some act of define orthodoxy as
compliance with the teachings of the Vedas (the four Vedas and their
supplements). But still others identify their tradition with ‘Sanatana Dharma’.
Hinduism does not action which is wrong or can hurt other people because of
their ‘karma’ (the predetermined principle that controls the movements
of their lives).
Thus Hinduism finds in one’s good works the ultimate goal of ‘moksha’ that is salvation which brings complete liberation from the cycle of endless births and deaths. It is only a single objective of Hinduism to get salvation but it comes by one of three ways: knowledge, devotion to deity, and good works.
