Sadguru Shri Riteshwar (born January 5, 1973) is a spiritual leader, motivational speaker, and author based in Uttar Pradesh, India. He is the founder of Shri Anandam Dham and also a strong advocate of Lord Krishna's teachings. Sadguru has embarked on a ceaseless journey to awaken the enlightenment of the human mind and navigate it towards a joyful life. His attachment and dedication to Sanatan Dharma is incomparable. Sadguru bagged the 14th Newsmakers' Achievement Award 2022 as the Best Spiritual Leader, organized by Afternoon Voice, an English daily of Mumbai. Early life and education Sadguru was born on January 5, 1973 to Shri Yut Vijay Narayan (father) and Shrimati Manju Devi (mother) in Gorakhpur, Uttar Pradesh. He belongs to an aristocratic Brahmin family. Both of his parents were teachers in undivided Bihar. Since his childhood, Sadguru was inclined towards spirituality and was blessed with mystical talents. Sadhguru holds a Master's degree in "Geology" and a degree in "Sanskrit" from Varanasi. He started his journey towards enlightenment about 25 years ago for the welfare of the people. Throughout his educational journey, his spiritual practice went on simultaneously. Sadguru embarked on his journey of penance in the mountains of Trikuta and forests of Uttarakhand, Braj Chaurasi Kos, Kashi (Varanasi) and Vrindavan. In this sequence, he made long journeys in almost every part of the nation, traveling frequently through Shrimad Bhagwat Gyan Yagya, Valmiki Ramayana Katha, and Bhakta Mal Kathas. He often spreads awareness about the greatness of the love of Lord Krishna and the valuable teachings provided by him.Social Welfare and Shri Anandam Dham Sadhguru established "Shri Anandam Dham", an international, educational, and non-profit organization in Vrindavan, Uttar Pradesh, with its branches running in the capital states of India. His initiative conducts a campaign on 'Save water', 'Save trees', 'Save the future' in different prone areas of India. Every year, Sadhguru organizes a multitude of youth programmes based on drugs and alcohol addiction across India. Besides, Sadguru runs a free food center called "Ladli Prasadam" for the service of all his devotees. For the welfare of the new generation, Sadguru has established the "Bhagwat Research Institute" to reveal the secrets hidden in the Shrimad Bhagwat Mahapuran and the divine effect on human health by the use of Bhagwat’s mantras. Through his teachings, Sadguru aims to guide the youth towards becoming devotees of Lord Shri Radhakrishna to relish everlasting peace and happiness. Sadguru is also an advocate of the Sanatan Board, which he feels is necessary for the development of education in India.
